just making cards, whatever....

i'm really liking this style and i've got a ton of ideas stored in my head right now i need to get out..

for some reason the picture makes the shoes look all yellowy but they rn't in real life.

i have a friend working at a jewellery store in the distillery district and he thinks he can sell my cards, so i am trying to stock up.

i made this card for my dad's birthday. he bought me these really cool 3d stickers to help me with my quest to make manly looking cards. they were really fun to work with.. i wish u could see all the detail but it turned out really good.. plus the guy looks just like my dad!

i've been busy.

so a friend at work asked me to make him a card for his girlfriend's birthday.. he said "make it fashion-y and not pink" i love pink, so i was stumped at first.. does fashion exist without the colour pink?? well i might have snuck it in still, and i might have got carried away making this batch, but check out how awesome they are!!

i am really happy with how they turned out.

so i did a little shopping and picked up some fun stuff.  i've just been playing around so far, but what do u think?  

these r flat cards (so just front and back) and these adorable 3-d, make your own flower cut outs.   also, note the new stamps (happy birthday) my parents got me (they r investing in me!)

go figure these pictures kind of suck..  in real life this card is not blurry and it is a mixture of these cool 3-d stickers i found and these neat rub 'n' etch thinga ma-jiggers.

so i have been total slack.  what can i say summer gets me out of the house? ha! ya right,  i wish that was true, i've just been lazy. i did get my craft on here and there, unfortunately for all of you i haven't gotten any better at taking pictures, sorry about that, i'm sure i will one day.  anyways, i have had a few requests, so i'm gonna post them on here, and then my '"customers" (i feel like a jack ass typing that) can see if they like them or not.  ok so here's the latest...

i had to refigure my table set up as i sold SOOOOOO many cards!  yeah me!  

i learned so much from this experience.  what to do next time and what not to do..  like maybe next time i'll bring a companion with me as sometimes i have to go pee.  but overall,  it was a great first craft show and im super excited to work towards more..  realistically, i'm probably aiming more for fall and christmas shows..
